Keep Walmart Canada’s Mississauga store clean and safe through maintenance cleaning, equipment checks, and Fresh Department sanitation. This onsite store role supports daily operations.
As a Maintenance Team Associate, you will participate in a structured cleaning program while controlling expenses. You will cooperate with the Stocking 3 Coach and associates, follow Food Safety standards, and maintain coolers, freezers, fixtures, floors, carpets, and non-sales areas. The position requires in-store certifications and adherence to Company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in structured maintenance cleaning programs
- Clean Fresh Department coolers, freezers, and display fixtures
- Inspect cleaning equipment and confirm proper working condition
- Maintain sufficient cleaning supplies for assigned work
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain carpets when required
Requirements:
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Comply with Food Safety standards and cold chain guidelines
- Complete required in-store certification programs
- Follow Company policies and procedures
