Keep LCBO building systems secure and reliable in Thunder Bay through HVAC troubleshooting, mechanical routines, and equipment maintenance.

As a Maintenance Mechanic reporting to the Manager, Conventional Services, you will maintain building systems, fixtures, and equipment. The work includes HVAC, compressed air, plumbing, drainage, and fire protection systems. You will also support material-handling systems and maintain daily activity records.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install, operate, troubleshoot, repair, clean, and paint building systems
- Use hand tools, power tools, testing instruments, and welding equipment
- Assist with material-handling system installation, repair, overhaul, or removal
- Maintain records of daily activities and equipment performance
- Keep work areas clean and safe





Requirements:

- Valid HVAC certificate and ability to perform electrical routines
- Mechanical aptitude with technical education or equivalent continuing courses
- Interpretation skills for mechanical drawings and electrical schematics
- Experience using tools for building maintenance facilities and equipment
- Progressive maintenance experience supported by intensive on-the-job training
