Sander Geophysics (SGL) specializes in high-resolution airborne geophysical surveys for resource exploration, as well as geographical and environmental mapping. The company carries out airborne gravity, magnetic, electromagnetic, and radiometric surveys, using fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters.

SGL is looking for an experienced King Air Captain to join our team for a two-month contract.

Responsibilities of the Position

· Responsible for the operation and safety of the aircraft they command and for all those on board during the flight

· Assist in monitoring on-board geophysical equipment

· Complete pre-flight inspections and post flight reports

· Liaise with foreign aviation authorities

· Become familiar with:

o the planned route/flight plan

o the aerodromes planned for normal and emergency use

o the survey navigation equipment and ensure that it is in working order

· Ensure the following has been met:

o the flight as planned can be made safely

o the aircraft equipment including emergency, survival and safety equipment is installed

Qualifications and Experience

- Valid Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) with a Group 1 Instrument Rating and Category 1 Medical Certificate
- Minimum of 2,000 hours total flight time, including 250* hours of multi-engine turbine PIC time
- Current BE20 PPC (King Air 200/B200)




- King Air 200 PIC experience, with recent experience on type strongly preferred
- Valid passport or ability to obtain one for international travel
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC)
- Ability to travel unrestricted to the USA
- Previous low-level survey flying experience is an asset
- International flying experience is an asset
- Valid driver's licence
- Willingness and ability to travel to SGL's survey sites worldwide
- Must meet a minimum of ICAO Level 4 English language proficiency
- Proficiency in additional languages is an asset
- Strong leadership, communication, and crew resource management skills
