Job Overview

As a Personal Support Worker, you provide respectful, practical support that helps individuals with daily routines and promotes comfort, dignity, and independence. Work may take place in home care, assisted living, or nursing home settings, supporting seniors and individuals with disabilities. Your impact: attentive, consistent care helps individuals feel supported and enables colleagues to coordinate daily needs.

Responsibilities

- Assist with personal caregiving and daily activities while respecting each individual’s preferences and independence.
- Support meal preparation and cleaning to maintain comfortable, orderly living spaces.
- Provide dementia care and medication administration in accordance with established care plans and procedures.




- Observe and communicate relevant changes in an individual’s needs to the appropriate care team members.

Experience

Required: Practical caregiving skills, explicit communication, and the ability to support daily routines, prepare meals, maintain clean spaces, and follow established care plans carefully. Preferred: Experience in senior care, dementia care, medication administration, home care, assisted living, or nursing homes, as well as experience working with individuals with disabilities.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
