Plan resident activation programs as a part time Quality of Life Aide at Extendicare, using assessed needs and recreation programming skills. Support individual and group activities across long-term care programs.

Reporting to the Recreation Manager, the Quality of Life Aide develops, implements, evaluates, and revises activation programs. The position supports resident participation through transportation, activity-area preparation, observation, documentation, and communication. Collaboration with the interdisciplinary team is central to department operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan individual and group activation programs based on assessed needs
- Implement, evaluate, develop, and revise resident programs
- Set up and clean activity areas as necessary




- Transport residents to and from recreation programs
- Monitor residents and report significant changes appropriately

Requirements:

- Ability to maintain program and resident records
- Ability to document resident participation according to policy
- Ability to communicate participation to registered staff
- Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team
- Willingness to follow Recreation Manager guidance
