Plan resident-centered recreation programs at AgeCare, using robust communication and interpersonal skills to support participation, connection, and well-being.

As a Recreation Aide, you will plan, coordinate, and deliver leisure programs according to established care plans. You will work with the Recreation Manager and Executive Director while following AgeCare policies and the Collaborative Care Model. The position includes documentation, assessments, events, and outings.

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate recreation and leisure programs with leadership
- Create inclusive environments encouraging resident participation
- Support assessments and evaluate program effectiveness
- Maintain participation records, notes, and departmental charting
- Facilitate programs, events, outings,



and transportation support

Requirements:

- Diploma in recreation, leisure studies, gerontology, or related field
- Experience with seniors is considered an asset
- Strong interpersonal and compassionate communication skills
- Microsoft Office proficiency, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Current Vulnerable Sector Check or willingness to obtain one
