Provide essential patient care as a Licensed Practical Nurse with Health PEI, using clinical judgment, communication, and infection control techniques. Rotating shifts include 7.50 and 11.25 hours.

This Licensed Practical Nurse provides basic nursing care under Registered Nurse supervision. The position supports patient comfort, treatment procedures, and nursing care plans. You will also communicate with nursing and allied health teams while applying knowledge of chronic illnesses.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide basic nursing care for patient comfort and well-being
- Perform treatment procedures and apply infection control techniques
- Participate in nursing care plan development and implementation
- Communicate effectively with nursing and allied health teams




- Recognize when healthcare team members require assistance

Requirements:

- Complete an approved Licensed Practical Nurse course
- Maintain active or eligible Prince Edward Island registration
- Provide physical and emotional patient care effectively
- Demonstrate communication, judgment, organization, and time management
- Maintain current CPR/BCLS, TLR, WHMIS, and annual recertifications
