Support kindergarten learning as an Early Childhood Educator at Eagle Heights School in London, Ontario, collaborating with a Kindergarten Teacher daily.

TVDSB seeks an Early Childhood Educator for a 10 month position serving four and five year olds. You will plan developmentally appropriate activities, observe children’s development, and help maintain a healthy physical, emotional, and social learning workplace. The position includes seven hours daily, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan developmentally appropriate Kindergarten activities with the teacher
- Implement activities reflecting children’s developmental continuum
- Observe, monitor, and assess children’s development
- Promote healthy physical, emotional,



and social learning environments
- Maintain children’s records and communicate with families when required

Requirements:

- Completed two year Early Childhood Education College Diploma
- Current registration with the College of Early Childhood Educators
- Knowledge of ELECT would be an asset
- Knowledge of Full Day Early Learning Kindergarten Program
- Knowledge of The Kindergarten Program, 2016
