Operate lowbed combinations hauling heavy equipment throughout the Kootenays and surrounding regions. Apply load securement and regulatory knowledge in a safety-focused driving role.

As a Class 1 Lowbed Driver with Sutco Transportation, you will transport machinery and oversize loads. The work includes route planning, permitting, inspections, and electronic logging through ISAAC. You will also help load and unload equipment when required, maintaining skilled service and equipment care.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate lowbed truck and trailer combinations
- Transport oversize and overweight loads safely
- Plan routes and secure required permits
- Load and secure heavy equipment for transport
- Maintain inspections, ISAAC logs, and trip data

Requirements:

- Valid Class 1 Driver’s Licence
- Proven lowbed trailer operating experience
- Experience hauling oversize and overweight loads
- Understanding of provincial over-dimensional regulations
- Acceptable commercial driver’s abstract and drug testing
