Build welding experience at CNRL Horizon Maintenance as a Welder Apprentice, joining pipe, steel, beams, vessels, and other metal components. Work a 7/7 shift in field conditions.

Primoris Canada seeks first, second, and third year apprentices for infrastructure work serving oil, gas, power, petrochemical, and heavy oil industries. The Welder Apprentice reads blueprints, applies client-required processes and fillers, and checks welds for defects. Work may occur indoors or outdoors and can be physically demanding.

Key Responsibilities:

- Join or sever metals in piping, beams, vessels, and components
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine job requirements
- Use processes and fillers according to client requirements




- Clean and inspect welds for defects
- Attend required safety and toolbox meetings

Requirements:

- Alberta registered apprentice or AIT-recognized apprenticeship or journeyman certificate
- Current CSO certification required
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and climb in or under units
- Organized and self-motivated work approach
- Ability to work well in a team workplace
