Use Surfer 2015 and drafting expertise at NorthWind to create environmental assessment drawings. This part-time temporary or contract work supports technical environmental projects.

As a Draftsperson, you will prepare maps, engineering drawings, field sketches, and survey drawings for Phase I through IV ESAs. The work includes groundwater contour and COC maps, reclamation, remediation, and spill projects. You will coordinate drawings with Project Managers while meeting requirements and budgetary restraints.

Key Responsibilities:

- Produce environmental site maps for Phase I through IV ESAs
- Prepare engineering, field sketch, and survey drawings
- Plot water and chemistry data using Surfer and Excel




- Confirm drawings conform to specifications and design data
- Customize drawings according to client preferences

Requirements:

- Comprehensive Surfer software knowledge
- At least two years using Surfer drafting tools
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Acrobat
- Drafting and GIS experience; certificate is an asset
- Robust spatial perception, accuracy, and English communication skills
