Teach skiing and snowboarding at Manning Park Resort while creating safe, memorable lessons for guests of all ages and abilities. Work outdoors throughout winter.
This seasonal Dual Snow School Instructor role serves guests in group and one-on-one settings. You will assess abilities, place students appropriately, and teach within certification limits. The position also supports guest services, rental equipment, lift operations, and resort activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Instruct and coach ski and snowboard lessons
- Assess students and assign appropriate lesson groups
- Maintain protected learning areas and teach the Alpine Responsibility Code
- Prepare lesson equipment, signage, and crowd control measures
- Support rentals, lift operations, and guest inquiries
Requirements:
- Canadian-recognized Level 1 ski or snowboard certification
- Dual ski and snowboard certification, or willingness to obtain it
- Intermediate ability in skiing and snowboarding
- Strong customer service skills and dependable teamwork
- Availability weekends, holidays, and November through April
