West Fraser is recruiting a Millwright for its maintenance team at High Prairie Lumber. The position performs daily troubleshooting, predictive maintenance, and preventative maintenance strategies. Work includes pumps, conveyors, compressors, hydraulics, mechanical systems, rollers, chains, and bearings.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain a protected work environment during maintenance activities
- Troubleshoot equipment and support consistent operations
- Maintain pumps, conveyors, compressors, and mechanical systems
- Read schematics and repair machinery using hoisting devices




- Document completed repairs and identify improvement opportunities

Requirements:

- Valid Inter-Provincial or Provincial Journeyperson Millwright Certification
- Ability to read blueprints, plans, and schematics
- Mechanical aptitude and excellent problem-solving skills
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexible availability for day, evening, weekend, and graveyard shifts
