About the Role

Our client, a trailblazing technology consultancy firm, is seeking a Senior Cloud Solutions Architect with extensive expertise in AWS and Azure to join their fully remote, high-performing team. Operating from Kimberley, Northern Cape, ZA, you will be at the forefront of designing and implementing innovative cloud strategies for a diverse global clientele. This role is pivotal in translating complex business requirements into scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures. You will leverage your deep understanding of cloud services, infrastructure as code, and DevOps principles to guide clients through their digital transformation journey. Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and implement robust, scalable, and secure cloud architectures on AWS and Azure platforms.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and translate them into comprehensive cloud solutions.
- Lead the migration of on-premises applications and infrastructure to cloud environments.
- Develop and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices for cloud deployments.
- Optimize cloud environments for performance, cost-efficiency, and security.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development and operations teams.
- Conduct architectural reviews and provide recommendations for cloud service enhancements.
- Stay current with the latest cloud technologies, services,



and industry trends.
- Develop and deliver compelling technical presentations and proposals to clients.

Requirements

- Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years focused on cloud architecture and implementation.
- Proven expertise in designing and deploying solutions on both AWS and Azure platforms.
- Deep understanding of core cloud services, including compute, storage, networking, databases, and security.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong knowledge of DevOps principles and CI/CD practices.
- Experience with cloud security best practices and implementation.
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Qualified, Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage client relationships, and lead technical discussions in a remote setting.
