This Hotel Accountant position supports daily property finances through transaction recording, payment balancing, and compliance with financial policies. You will collaborate with the General Manager, Human Resources, Corporate Accounting, and other teams as needed. Payroll administration and employee record maintenance are also included.
Key Responsibilities:
- Balance credit, debit, cash, and payment transactions
- Verify posted revenue, voids, coupons, and promotions
- Ensure transactions receive proper authorization and compliance
- Prepare deposits and reconcile them with daily reports
- Maintain payroll records and process semimonthly payroll
Requirements:
- Experience as a Bookkeeper or Accountant
- Knowledge of payroll and accounting practices
- Accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Administrative or Human Resources experience is a plus
