Lead GMP sourcing and supplier qualification for BMC’s Montréal biomanufacturing facility, using negotiation and risk management expertise. The position follows a hybrid work model.

As Specialist, Procurement and Contract Management, you will support supplies, equipment, services, and professional services required for operations. You will partner with Operations, Quality Assurance, and Finance across competitive bidding, supplier assessment, contract management, and performance measurement. The position also addresses supply continuity, compliance, category strategies, and cost opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop category strategies for cost, quality, and supplier performance
- Identify, assess, and qualify suppliers under GMP requirements
- Manage key supplier relationships and measure performance




- Identify supply risks and develop alternative sources
- Analyze spending trends for savings and consolidation opportunities

Requirements:

- At least five years’ experience in procurement, sourcing, or category management
- Bachelor’s degree in a related business, procurement, or legal field
- Direct negotiation and supplier assessment experience
- Understanding of contractual terms and supplier management
- Skilled French and English communication skills
