Reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer, the Director supports CAE’s enterprise mandate to identify and unlock above-market growth. The role provides dedicated defense-domain depth within the corporate strategy team. Its work spans portfolio evolution, capital and capability allocation, adjacencies, and build, buy, or partner decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze Defense market growth and quantify portfolio gaps
- Evaluate where CAE should allocate capital and capability
- Assess Defense adjacencies for potential market entry
- Analyze build, buy, or partner alternatives




- Support Defense portfolio evolution for above-market growth

Requirements:

- Experience developing portfolio strategy within the Defense domain
- Ability to perform analytical and transactional strategy work
- Capability to evaluate capital and capability allocation
- Understanding of market adjacencies and enterprise portfolio choices
- Ability to collaborate within a corporate strategy team
