This Theatre Technician performs technical duties involving equipment purchase, setup, operation, and maintenance.
The role provides advice to theatre groups, instructs volunteers, and receives supervision from the general manager.

Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate lighting, sound, and rigging systems
Repair and maintain equipment personally or through vendors
Advise on equipment purchases and replacements
Ensure secure, proper equipment use
Instruct volunteers in equipment operation and safety
Requirements: Technical degree or significant relevant stage-production experience
Knowledge of lighting, sound, and rigging equipment
Understanding of safety, building, and fire-code regulations
Ability to perform equipment maintenance and repairs
Availability for nights and weekends
