The position covers pumps, conveyors, compressors, hydraulics, mechanical systems, and preventative maintenance.
You will read blueprints, operate lifting devices, and document completed repairs.
Key Responsibilities: Maintain a safe work environment
Keep manufacturing equipment operating consistently
Maintain pumps, conveyors, compressors, and mechanical systems
Repair and assemble hydraulic equipment and cylinders
Read schematics and document completed repairs
Requirements: Valid Journeyperson Welding Certification
Three or more years in industrial manufacturing
Ability to work independently without constant supervision
Organizational skills for daily and weekly priorities
Planning skills to identify improvements and savings
Apply certified welding, hydraulic repair, and preventative maintenance skills to support West Fraser operations in Chetwynd.
