Support seniors through personal care, hygiene, and daily living assistance as a Personal Support Worker with Extendicare.

This is a part time care position.

The Personal Support Worker follows each supervisor-directed care plan while meeting Extendicare standards, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities include personal care, transfers, meal preparation, resident observation, and reporting.

The position also provides cognitive, social, emotional, and psychological support to residents, clients, and families.

Key Responsibilities: Assist residents with personal care, hygiene, and daily living
Support ambulation, mobilization, transfers, and adaptive aids
Observe and report condition changes using appropriate tools




Prepare nutritious meals as required
Maintain confidentiality and safe, clean environments
Requirements: Graduate of a Personal Support Worker program
Experience working with seniors in community health services
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support and First Aid certification
Strong written, oral, interpersonal, and customer focus skills
Ability to lift and transfer clients
Bring personal care knowledge, communication skills, and compassionate support to residents and clients served by Extendicare.
