As a Diesel Mechanic, you will maintain, service, and repair rental equipment and tools.
The position includes mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems.
You will document work orders, demonstrate equipment, support deliveries, and provide exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities: Perform maintenance and preventive maintenance on rental equipment
Repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems
Complete daily work orders and electronic documentation
Demonstrate complex equipment for customers
Assist with equipment and parts pickup and delivery
Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent
Valid driverâs license with acceptable driving record
One to two years of mechanical experience or related trade experience
Own tools applicable to the position
Understand basic schematics and diagrams
Bring mechanical experience, equipment service knowledge, and customer service skills to United Rentals as a Diesel Mechanic.
