Emergency response and security technician supporting Dow’s Fort Saskatchewan site through firefighting, hazardous materials response, and medical response.

This hands-on role maintains operational readiness.

Dow seeks an Emergency Response Technician for its Emergency Services and Security team.

You will support the ES&S; management system while responding to emergencies and security incidents.

The work includes tactical response plans, equipment readiness, training, maintenance, and preparedness documentation.

Key Responsibilities: Respond to emergencies and security incidents using tactical response plans
Provide firefighting, rope rescue, hazardous materials, and medical response
Maintain emergency systems, equipment, training, and operational checks




Complete preparedness tasks under site ES&S; plans
Mentor less experienced team members and support capability building
Requirements: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
NFPA 1001 Level 1 and Level 2 Certification
Alberta Emergency Medical Responder registration
At least seven years of relevant emergency response experience
Ability to work safely at heights using PPE
Bring emergency response, operational readiness, and safety skills to Dow’s Fort Saskatchewan Emergency Services and Security team.
