Alberta Health Services is hiring an HCA for Unit 66, Acute Care Cardiac Inpatients.
Working under regulated health qualified supervision, you will follow care plans and facility policies.
The position supports patients and families across hygiene, nutrition, mobility, recreation, and safety needs.
Key Responsibilities: Provide personal assistance with activities of daily living
Assist nurses with routine patient care needs
Support hygiene, nutrition, mobility, recreation, and safety
Observe and report patientsâ mood, health, and wellbeing
Maintain safe environments for patients, staff, and visitors
Requirements: Active or eligible CLHA registration or practice permit
Health Care Aide Certificate or completion within eighteen months
Grade 12 Diploma and Provincial Curriculum HCA education
Current successful BCLS-HCP completion and clear English communication
Current acute care HCA experience required
