Deliver ongoing client care as a Health Care Aide at Carewest’s Garrison Green location in Calgary, supporting complex continuing care residents.

This temporary part time Health Care Aide position supports frail seniors within an interprofessional health care team.

You will observe, monitor, and report changes in physical or emotional status to Registered Nurses or Licensed Practical Nurses.

The position also requires accurate medication delivery, professional standards, and related duties.

Key Responsibilities: Provide ongoing care to complex continuing care clients
Observe and monitor physical and emotional client status
Report client status changes to RN or LPN staff




Deliver prescribed medications accurately under policy and procedure
Maintain professional and ethical standards during care
Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent
Alberta Government recognized Health Care Aide program graduation
Active and current CLHA registration
Effective English reading, writing, and communication skills
Physical ability to lift, transfer, and reposition clients frequently
Support Carewest clients through compassionate complex care using observation, medication delivery, and accurate health status reporting.
