Material handling and inventory control define this temporary Material Handler 1 assignment at General Dynamics Mission Systems–Canada.

Work a 40 hour week supporting mission-critical programs.

This six month temporary position manages materials through receiving, storage, issuing, kitting, and inventory control.

You will use an MRP system, verify packing slips, process documentation, and support parts-window customers.

Daily work includes equipment operation, cycle counts, discrepancy reporting, and maintaining orderly areas.

Key Responsibilities: Receive, verify, store, package, and control materials
Enter receipts, issues, records, and discrepancies in MRP
Prepare and maintain kits for customer requirements




Move materials using carts, pallet lifters, and forklifts
Serve customers at the parts window in rotation
Requirements: Grade 12 equivalent education in Ontario
Over one to two years related inventory experience
Manufacturing or warehouse setting experience
Basic computer and company ERP system experience
Valid driver’s and forklift operator’s licenses
Apply material control, MRP, kitting, and forklift skills as a Material Handler 1 supporting General Dynamics Mission Systems–Canada.
