Support Hair and Beauty learners at LCBT Academy in London through compassionate academic coaching, mentoring, and City & Guilds EVolve preparation.
As an Academic Coach and Mentor, you will work across EFI Group, predominantly at LCBT, alongside Curriculum Teams.
You will provide subject-specific academic coaching, reinforce underpinning theory, strengthen exam technique, and support learner wellbeing.
The role focuses particularly on identified and vulnerable Further Education students, helping them progress academically and socially.
You will also track test readiness and signpost learners to appropriate support.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver subject-specific academic coaching and learner signposting
Prepare learners for City & Guilds EVolve knowledge tests
Reinforce Hair and Beauty underpinning theory with lecturers
Build confidence, exam technique, and test readiness
Support vulnerable learnersâ academic and social development
Requirements: Relevant industry experience in Hair and/or Beauty
Experience coaching, mentoring, or providing academic support
Experience preparing learners for external tests or examinations
Knowledge of Post-16 education, pedagogy, and assessment requirements
Robust organisation, communication, digital, and problem-solving skills
Use Hair and Beauty expertise, coaching skills, and compassion to improve learner outcomes at EFI Groupâs LCBT Academy.
