Build manufacturing automation experience at Linamar by supporting PLC, CNC, and robotic systems alongside Automation Technicians.

Help improve product flow and reduce machine downtime.

As a Junior Automation Technician, you will support line improvements, automation initiatives, and equipment realignment.

You will work with Maintenance and Engineering while assisting program managers and project engineers during APQP start-up activities.

The work includes equipment compliance, root cause analysis, and program backups.

Key Responsibilities: Assist line improvements and automation initiatives across production lines
Realign existing and recent equipment to improve product flow
Support APQP activities with technicians, managers, and engineers




Perform PLC and CNC program backups on schedule
Participate in root cause analysis and PHSR requirements
Requirements: Enrolled or completed electrical or mechanical technology program
One year of manufacturing experience considered an asset
Experience with CNC and robotic repair or programming
Understand schematics, blueprints, and pneumatic or hydraulic systems
Knowledge of PLC, robotic systems, networking, and AutoCAD
Support Linamar manufacturing improvements through automation, equipment troubleshooting, PLC programming, and effective collaboration with Maintenance and Engineering.
