Our Toronto based client is seeking an experienced Senior SAP Procure to Pay (P2P) IS-Retail Functional Lead to join their team on a full time permanent basis. The ideal candidate should have at least 7 years of SAP Functional experience, including 1 or more end-to-end implementations and demonstrated hands-on experience configuring LE and MM. They should also have experience with warehouse management systems (such as WM or third-party systems) and integrating them with ECC6 and MM. This will be a hybrid role with the exact amount of on-site scheduled days to be confirmed.

Key Responsibilities:

- Project rollout planning for production releases and Scope and size recent initiatives, and assist with developing functional and technological project roadmaps
- Understand configuration dependencies and integration points between functional modules of SAP and designs and troubleshoots in the area with this knowledge.
- Proactively identify and anticipate customer expectations and needs and Embrace and seek out technology that creates high tech and high touch solutions.
- Work closely with business owners to identify and document business requirements to meet the end user’s needs.




- Perform SAP configuration and unit/functional testing, for required applications.
- Work closely with business owners to identify and document business requirements to meet the end user’s needs.
- Provide alternative solutions based on best practices and SAP functionality.
- Work with developers to develop comprehensive Business Requirements and Technical Requirements documents.
- Development of functional specification documentation for the development of applications and configuration.
- Perform SAP configuration and unit/functional testing, for required applications and Act as functional lead on projects.
- Support development and QA departments through project lifecycle.
- Provide production support as needed, with problem resolution and escalation where necessary.
- Provide leadership in the development of functional skills in others through active knowledge sharing.
- Act as an advocate for the customer by placing them at the forefront of all decision-making and design processes.
- Configuration experience in F&R; (Forecasting & Replenishment) is nice to have.
