This Software Developer III position supports Google’s technical foundation through infrastructure development and issue resolution. The work includes managing cloud systems, analyzing performance, and contributing to scalable systems. Preferred experience includes Infrastructure as a Service, Go or C++, and availability management.

Key Responsibilities
- Debug and track sources of product or system issues
- Develop code for products or systems
- Adapt documentation to product and program updates
- Lead or participate in technology design reviews
- Provide code review feedback to developers

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Two years of software development experience in backend engineering
- Experience with cloud monitoring, logging, and tracing
- Preferred experience with Infrastructure as a Service
- Preferred experience with Go or C++ Bring cloud management, backend coding, and performance analysis skills to Google’s Core infrastructure team in Waterloo.
