Design coherent optical transceivers using PIC, DSP, and analog ASIC technologies while integrating digital and optical systems. This Coherent Optical Systems Engineer role spans transceiver design, development, characterization, and optimization. You will work with early-stage PIC, DSP, and analog ASIC hardware. The position requires optical communications, signal processing, and system-level engineering expertise.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform digital-optical integration of coherent optical transceivers
- Develop calibration and control algorithms
- Characterize SNR, OSNR tolerance, sensitivity, and metrics
- Validate analog, control, optical, and DSP components
- Support hardware bring-up, debugging, and optimization

Requirements:




- Ph.
D. in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, or related discipline
- Experience with optical communications, photonics, or systems engineering
- Understanding of coherent systems, QPSK, 16QAM, and 64QAM
- High-speed optical and electrical test equipment experience
- MATLAB, Python, VB.
NET, C, or similar programming experience Apply coherent systems expertise, calibration, characterization, and programming skills to optimize advanced optical transceiver performance.
