Job Type: Part-Time / Freelance (Recurring) Location: Saint John, NB (Uptown) Pay: Competitive Flat Rate per turnover (Negotiable based on experience) About the Role: We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and trustworthy independent cleaner to manage the recurring turnovers for our two short-term rental (Airbnb) apartments located at the same address. One unit is a 1-bedroom and den, and the other is a 2-bedroom and den. Because both units are in the same building, this is a highly efficient setup - if both units check out on the same day, you can easily manage the flips back-to-back! Typical Hours: Cleanings must take place during the standard Airbnb turnover window: 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Days will vary depending on guest bookings, but we provide advanced notice through our calendar sync. Weekend availability is a major asset. Responsibilities: • Full Turnover Cleaning: Deep clean and sanitize kitchens and bathrooms, sweep/mop/vacuum floors, dust all surfaces, and empty trash. • Staging & Resetting: Change linens and make beds neatly, replace towels, restock guest amenities (soap, toilet paper, coffee, etc.), and stage the space so it looks welcoming and "like new" for the next guest. • Laundry Management: Strip dirty linens/towels. Laundry flexible can be done off site, by us or the 2 bed unit can utilize the on-site laundry machines to start the wash cycle while cleaning the units. (We maintain multiple sets of linens per unit). To be discussed. • Attention to Detail: Perform a quick visual inspection upon arrival to check for any guest damages or missing items and report them to us immediately via text with a photo. • Possibility of additional tasks (optional). Requirements:



• Proven experience in residential cleaning, hotel housekeeping, or short-term rental turnovers. • Extreme reliability and punctuality-the 11 AM to 3 PM window is strict. • Strong communication skills and a smartphone to send quick updates/photos. • Basic cleaning supplies provided (vacuum, mop, sprays). We supply all guest consumables and linens. • Having a backup contact or partner who can cover for you in an emergency is a huge plus.
