Install and service propane systems as a Gasfitter A with Avenir Energy, applying mechanical skills across residential and commercial settings. Year 1 and Year 2 apprentices are also considered.

Reporting to the Service Manager, the Gasfitter A supports safe, efficient propane system installation, maintenance, and service. The work includes propane tanks, appliances, vaporizers, and wide-ranging system hook-ups. Strong CSA B149 Gas Code knowledge, communication, and problem-solving skills support customer satisfaction and reliable service.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install propane tanks, appliances, and vaporizers
- Maintain and repair residential and commercial propane systems
- Complete safe, accurate propane hook-ups
- Order parts and complete work orders
- Process invoicing and assist with shop activities

Requirements:

- Gasfitter A certification required
- Year 1 or Year 2 Gasfitter Apprentices considered
- Strong understanding of CSA B149 Gas Codes
- Minimum Class 5 driver’s license
- Strong technical and mechanical skills
