Deliver personalized mortgage, lending, and investment advice in person across Assiniboine Credit Union’s Lakewood and Ile-des-Chenes branches. Support members Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours weekly.
Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Financial Consultant deepens member relationships through proactive needs discovery and customized guidance. You will support everyday banking, credit applications, mortgages, investments, and referrals. The work also includes onboarding members, outbound contacts, and business memberships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess member goals and structure compliant credit applications
- Recommend banking, lending, investment, and digital solutions
- Provide advice on term deposits and registered products
- Conduct proactive contacts and scheduled financial check-ins
- Process straightforward and moderately complex estate accounts
Requirements:
- Grade twelve diploma and three to four years related experience
- Two to three years advising on investments, mortgages, and lending
- Mortgage application experience; credit adjudication experience is an asset
- Intermediate French proficiency, written and verbal
- Financial institution experience and solid relationship-building skills
