Job Description:

Our client is seeking an Accounts Payable Administrator to join their Edmonton team on a contract basis. This in-office role will focus on high-volume invoice processing, vendor account maintenance, and payment administration across multiple entities.

Responsibilities:

- Process high volumes of AP transactions accurately and within deadlines.
- Create and maintain vendor profiles, verifying banking details before issuing payments.
- Support payment processing, including scheduled cheque runs and vendor disbursements.
- Match invoices against supporting documentation and resolve discrepancies.
- Respond to vendor inquiries and follow up on outstanding items.
- Liaise with internal teams to clarify invoice issues and facilitate timely approvals.
- Enter, code, and track invoices within a paperless workflow across multiple companies.
- Help clear outstanding backlogs and improve AP processes.

Requirements:

Requirements:

- At least 2 years of accounts payable experience in a high-volume setting.
- Diploma in accounting, finance, business administration,



or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of invoice processing, reconciliations, data entry, and payment administration.
- Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and formulas.
- Ability to follow direction, accept feedback, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with vendors and internal teams.
- Experience with QuickBooks or Viewpoint Vista is an asset.
- Construction industry experience is an asset but not required.
