Job Overview

Responsibilities

- Maintain landscaped areas to ensure healthy plant growth.
- Use hand tools and power tools for various landscaping tasks, including digging, planting, and trimming.
- Assist in the construction of landscape features such as flower beds, pathways, and retaining walls.
- Perform routine landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, weeding, pruning and mulching.
- Follow safety protocols while operating equipment and handling materials.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor.

Requirements :

- Previous experience in landscape maintenance or gardening is required.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various hand tools and power tools safely.
- Valid Class 5 BC drivers license is preferred but not required.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor,



including lifting heavy materials and working in various weather conditions.
- Ability to dig, plant, and maintain garden areas with attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn current skills and techniques related to landscaping.
- A positive attitude and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- All employees are responsible to report for their work day at the company's yard. Transportation between the yard and worksites is provided.
