Position Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to provide support for a child with physical disabilities in a home setting. The successful candidate will assist with daily care, mobility, and overall well-being, while fostering a safe and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities: - Support activities tailored to a child with physical disabilities, including engagement in developmentally appropriate tasks - Assist with mobility, transfers, and secure transitioning between positions or environments - Provide personal care, including bathing, feeding, and dressing - Support with homework and educational activities - Assist with safely loading and unloading the child onto/from wheelchair - Perform light housekeeping duties - supervise the child siblings to Qualifications and Requirements: - Valid Police Vulnerable Sector Check (or willingness to obtain) - Liability Insurance (or willingness to obtain) - Valid CPR certification Assets: Personal Support Worker (PSW) certification or equivalent experience is considered an asset
