LOOKING FOR A DISPATCHER

w e are consistently growing logistics company in logistics & transport business located in Mississauga. We are looking for a full-time dispatcher in our expanded dispatch department

**DUTIES:

- **
- Plan, coordinate & monitor inbound / outbound shipments & determine the most cost-efficient routes
- With help of Operations Manger, schedule drivers, truck loads & routes
- Need to do tracking updates for inbound shipments
- Accept load tenders, book delivery appointments & schedule pick up date & time
- Ensure effective utilization of Company equipments & resources
- Communicate specific freight requirements & procedures to drivers
- Effectively negotiate rates with customers to achieve a profitable margin
- Handle customer inquiries in a timely & qualified manner
- Call customers to advise shipment delays and / or details necessary to process orders, border crossings, receipt of custom documents for clearance




- Report directly to the Operations Manger

**REQUIREMENT, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

- **
- Excellent verbal & written communication
- Should be a quick learner
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment & ability to prioritize tasks as per importance of the situation
- Minium of 2 years of previous experience working as a dispatcher, Reefer loads, logistics coordinator in transport industry
- Customer service role is a definite asset
- Good command of MS Excel, load link,DAT & Transplus software
- Should be able to handle 20-25 trucks

Job Types : Full-time, Permanent

Expected hours: 40 per week

Work Location: In person

Pay: $45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
