Role Overview

We are looking for a friendly, reliable Barista to join our seasonal (summer) Port Carling café and retail store. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in quality and consistency, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for preparing beverages, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, and helping create a positive guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare espresso-based drinks, coffee, tea, and café beverages with consistency and care
- Provide warm, attentive customer service
- Operate POS system and handle transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and seating areas
- Support daily opening and closing procedures




- Restock supplies and assist with light food preparation as needed
- Follow food safety and health standards at all times
- Represent the café with professionalism and positive energy

Requirements :

- Solid communication and customer-service skills
- Ability to work efficiently during busy periods
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working as part of a team
- Availability for weekends, holidays, and peak seasonal hours
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting

Job Types : Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $17.60-$22.00 per hour
