Hands on work in a retail garden center, caretaking of nursery stock (all plant material)including but not limited to vegetables, perennials, rose bushes, trees, shrubs, evergreens, annuals, vines, hanging baskets, potted plants, etc.

Assist customers with plants (answering questions, finding the plant, etc.)

Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, quick paced environment.

Ability to work independently and in a team setting, and communicate effectively.

Handling of plants, unloading of trucks, watering, general caretaking of plant material.

Able to lift and carry different types of plant material to restock plant material and assist customers(annuals, perennials, shrubs, roses, trees, evergreens, cut flowers, herbs, seeds, etc.)

Willing to train

Starting Wage: $17.60 reflective of skills, abilities, knowledge, education with certificate

Job Types : Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.60 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 42 per week
