On behalf of our Professional Services Client, Ignite Technical Resources is recruiting for a Senior Manager, IT Operations: Cloud & Cybersecurity to join our Client's team on a full-time permanent basis. This role is Hybrid and the Client is based in Vancouver, BC.

Summary of the Role

The Senior Manager, IT Operations will oversee enterprise infrastructure, cloud services, cybersecurity, IT service delivery, and workplace technology. This role provides strategic and operational leadership to ensure technology environments are secure, reliable, scalable, and aligned with business objectives. Responsibilities include infrastructure modernization, operational governance, risk management, business continuity, and supporting digital transformation initiatives involving automation, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies.

Duties & Responsibilities

Lead infrastructure, cybersecurity, service desk, and IT operations to ensure reliable, secure, and effective technology services.

Develop and execute infrastructure, cloud, security, and technology operations roadmaps aligned with business priorities.

Oversee IT service management processes, including incident, problem, change, escalation, and performance management.

Drive infrastructure modernization and improvements to workplace technology and end-user services.

Manage cybersecurity operations, including vulnerability management, endpoint protection, identity and access management, monitoring, and incident response.

Identify and mitigate technology, cybersecurity, operational, and business continuity risks.

Establish operational standards, governance frameworks, and performance metrics.

Oversee disaster recovery, backup, business continuity,



and technology resilience capabilities.

Manage technology vendors, service providers, contracts, licensing, operational budgets, and technology investments.

Lead and develop IT operations teams and provide senior leadership with reporting on service performance, risks, and strategic initiatives.

Core Requirements

7+ years of progressive IT operations experience, including technology leadership and management of enterprise environments.

Demonstrated experience overseeing infrastructure, cybersecurity, service desk operations, and enterprise IT service delivery.

Experience developing and implementing infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, and technology operations strategies and roadmaps.

Experience managing cybersecurity controls, operational risk, incident management, business continuity, and disaster recovery.

Experience managing technology vendors, managed service providers, enterprise licensing, contracts, and operational budgets.

Desired Skills & Experience

Experience with Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure, cloud infrastructure, identity and access management, endpoint management, and cybersecurity technologies.

Knowledge of IT service management (ITSM), ITIL frameworks, and enterprise service delivery practices.

Experience with infrastructure monitoring, backup and recovery,



technology resilience, and enterprise infrastructure lifecycle management.

Exposure to automation, artificial intelligence, emerging technologies, and security controls within modern development environments.

Degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; ITIL, CISSP, Azure, Microsoft, or related professional certifications are assets.

This is a full-time permanent chance based in Vancouver, BC, with a hybrid work arrangement requiring 2 days per week onsite.
