My 80 year old friend has dementia, but still has some cognitive awareness; he lives in a private care residence so most of his care needs are done by the staff; he struggles getting out of bed and there is a walker and wheel chair available to go to meals and activities there will no laundry, cleaning, giving medications, cooking/meal preparation, shopping or taking him to appointments; meals are free and prepared by kitchen staff the job is for people who can keep him calm and have social and verbal interatction so he doesnt feel alone; he can be obnoxious and has some anger, but he never has hit anyone; getting him involved in the residential activities would be great depending on how many care staff i hire, you can choose to work as many hours as you want, but there is no extra bed - a comfortable chair is provided and there is cable tv for his sporting events like baseball and hockey
