Cook/ Cafe All Rounder — Arvo Coffee & Wine | Liberty Village, Toronto | Full-time Permanent

We're Arvo Coffee & Wine, an Aussie-inspired brunch spot in the heart of Liberty Village. We've built a reputation for great food, excellent coffee, and even better vibes — and we're looking for a cook/cafe all rounder who brings skill to the kitchen and warmth to the floor.

This isn't your average back-of-house role. You'll be part of a collaborative team where the pass between kitchen and front of house is a short one — and where your personality matters just as much as your knife skills.

What you'll do

- Set up and stock your station with everything needed for smooth service
- Prep and execute dishes to a consistently high standard — quality and timing matter here
- Follow the lead of management, and communicate clearly throughout the shift
- Complete daily opening and closing cleaning duties
- Manage inventory and keep stations properly stocked
- Step into cashier or barista duties when the floor needs you — this team moves together
- Be a friendly,



approachable presence that guests and teammates enjoy being around

Who you are

- Experienced in a kitchen — line cook or prep cook background preferred (2+ years)
- Familiar with cooking methods, equipment, and industry best practices
- A natural multitasker who stays organised and precise under pressure
- Comfortable interacting with customers and contributing to the front of house experience
- Some barista experience is a strong asset (1+ year preferred) — coffee is kind of our thing
- Wine or bar knowledge? Even better
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Smart Serve & Food Handlers required

Pay: $17.60-$18.50 per hour
