NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE NEEDED

Cashier Responsibilities :

- Greet customers in a kind and friendly manner
- Upholds and comply with company procedures, standards and policies in all situations




- Process cash register payments with cash, credit card, debit, cheque, voucher's, gift cards
- Demonstrate excellent customer service
- Wrap and place all merchandise in customers bags/buggy
- Maintain clean workspace, and frontend area
- Date checking of products
- Facing of products/ tidiness
- Collection of buggies/ baskets - inside and outside (parking lot)

Cashier Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required :

- Ability to learn quickly
- Punctual
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment
- Motivated and team orientated, and able to work independently
- Ability to communicate clearly and consistently oral an written form
- Strong Customer Service qualities
- Work in a safe and responsible manner
- Available to work flexible hours
- Evening and weekend availability is required
- Must be available to be scheduled anytime during the availability provided.

Physical Requirements :

- Constant standing
- Lifting 10 - 25 pounds
- Constant computer and point of sale system use
- Frequent benching, twisting, lifting, carrying.
