Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently.

Schedule appointments, proactively find and fill gaps in the schedule, and manage the practice's flow using dental software.

Answer phone calls promptly and address patient inquiries and concerns professionally.

Check and respond to messages.

Maintain accurate patient records in our dental software system, ensuring confidentiality and regulatory compliance.

Process patient payments and insurance claims accurately.

Assist with administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.

Collaborate with the rest of the team to ensure a seamless patient experience from arrival to departure.

Handle any issues that may arise at the front desk, demonstrating quick-thinking problem-solving skills and a calm demeanour.

Relevant Skills

Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or Dental Assistant is preferred. An understanding of the Tracker software is also an asset.

Hardworking with a strong sense of responsibility.





Solid organizational skills with an attention to detail in keeping accurate records.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with patients and staff.

Ability to multitask in a busy environment while maintaining a positive attitude.

Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is an advantage but not mandatory.

Job Type

Full-time or part-time

Monday to Friday. No weekends and late evenings

Ability to commute/relocate: Burlington, ON L7N 2E9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work

Pay

$18.27-$35 per hour

5 days per week if full-time
