Our North America based client is seeking an expertienced SAP Subscription Order Management (SOM) Consultant to join their project on a weekly part-time basis and will run until end of the year, with possibility of an extension. The ideal candidate should have extensive SAP SOM experience and project implementation. This will be a fully work from home setting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support End-to-end solution design across SOM, Convergent Charging (CC), Convergent Invoicing (CI), and FI-CA; integration architecture; fit-to-standard decisions; resolves cross-workstream design conflicts.
- Lead SOM configuration subscription product modeling, order capture, contract management, change/suspend/terminate flows, billing plan setup, bundle pricing.
- Configures SPRO customizing, master data (business partners, products), Fiori roles, transaction types, item categories.
- Rating/charging configuration, price replication from SOM (SOM_PRCD model), usage-based billing integration.
- Support business requirements analysis and solution design for SAP SOM, translating stakeholder needs into functional specifications and end-to-end subscription order processes.




- Configure and customize core SOM functions, including master agreements, contract management, product catalogs, and rate plans, to support complex subscription scenarios.
- Manage the full project implementation lifecycle, covering planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery to ensure milestones are met on time.
- Support system integration and interface development between SOM and other BRIM modules (e.g., Convergent Charging, Convergent Invoicing, FICA) as well as external systems.
- Conduct testing and user support, including writing test scripts, executing unit/integration/UAT testing, delivering end-user training, and supporting go-live and post-launch issue resolution.
- Oversee data migration and master data management, ensuring accuracy and completeness of product models, business partner data, and contract data.
- Provide ongoing optimization and technical support, monitoring system performance, troubleshooting production issues, and implementing improvement solutions.
