Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Core Java Engineer to design, develop, and support high-performance, scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Core Java, distributed systems, backend engineering, and software design principles. Design, develop, test, and maintain robust, scalable, and highly available Java-based applications. Participate in system architecture, technical design, and code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables. Optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and security. Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, architects, and development teams to deliver technical solutions aligned with business objectives. Contribute to Agile development processes, including sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives. Advocate and implement software engineering best practices, coding standards, and development frameworks. Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering technical growth and knowledge sharing. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.7+ years of experience in software development with a strong focus on Java. Strong expertise in Core Java, object-oriented programming, multithreading, collections, concurrency, and JVM internals. Strong understanding of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms. Experience building RESTful APIs and service-oriented architectures. Strong knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
Experience with version control tools such as Git. Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and scripting. Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning skills. Exposure to cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, or DynamoDB.
