Seeking a Wonderful, Adaptable Nanny to Join Our Family | $30/hour We're looking for a caring, experienced, and engaging nanny who can offer something a little different from a traditional childcare schedule. We're hoping to find someone who values flexibility, genuinely loves working with little ones, and is passionate about helping children learn, grow, and thrive. A little about our family: We have a 1 year old and my wife is currently on maternity leave for another six months. My work requires frequent travel (approximately 50 nights away per year), sometimes for several consecutive nights. With our extended family living out of town, we're hoping to find someone wonderful who can become a reliable, trusted source of support for our family. While my wife is home with our baby, we're recognizing how important it is for her to have some time to herself, particularly when I'm away for multiple days at a time. Whether that's an opportunity to recharge, run errands, enjoy some personal time, or simply have an extra set of hands, we're looking for someone who can help make family life a little easier. What we're looking for: Ideally, we're hoping for approximately one day per week, but the schedule would vary depending on my work travel commitments and our family's needs. Some weeks it might be a weekday afternoon, another week a Friday evening, and occasionally we may need additional support when I'm travelling. We're looking for someone comfortable with an inconsistent schedule, with hours arranged in advance whenever possible. Beyond simply providing childcare, we'd love to find someone who is enthusiastic about early childhood development, age-appropriate activities, outdoor adventures, and opportunities for our baby to socialize with other children. We're hoping to find someone who takes initiative, enjoys planning engaging activities, and genuinely invests in the little person they're helping raise. Compensation: $30/hour We recognize that an inconsistent schedule isn't ideal for everyone, and we want to compensate accordingly.
