This casual Nurse Clinician role serves cardiac rehabilitation and heart function programs within the Vancouver Island Health Authority. You will provide clinical consultation, patient care, education, and problem solving across individual and group settings. The position also supports staff direction, work assignment, program development, implementation, and evaluation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess patients and identify wide-ranging health education needs
- Provide individual and group patient teaching
- Deliver direct cardiac rehabilitation and heart function care
- Consult with nurses, physicians,



and interdisciplinary health teams
- Travel to various sites as required

Requirements:

- Practicing RN registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives
- Four years recent heart failure or cardiovascular disease experience
- ACLS certification and recognized nursing education
- ECG monitoring, arrhythmia interpretation, and stress testing knowledge
- Ability to organize, prioritize, teach, and work independently
