Advance geriatric nursing education and mental health care as a Clinical Nurse Educator with North Bay Regional Health Centre. Bilingualism is required.

This composite position serves Nipissing Specialized Geriatric Services and the Seniors’ Mental Health Regional Consultation Service. You will develop staff and patient education, provide interdisciplinary outreach, and support comprehensive assessments, diagnosis, treatment recommendations, and follow-up. The work addresses neurocognitive, mood, anxiety, substance use, and psychotic disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop educational programs for staff across specialized geriatric services
- Provide patient education and create learning tools
- Mentor staff and support career development activities
- Deliver outreach assessments, recommendations,



and follow-up for older adults
- Lead knowledge transfer, quality improvement, and practice changes

Requirements:

- Current College of Nurses of Ontario registration
- Certified Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse, Canada certification
- Recognized BScN and current Basic Life Support certificate
- Recent specialized seniors’ mental health or geriatric medicine experience
- Advanced English/French bilingualism and valid driver’s license
