About the Position:

As an Account Manager - Mining at Univar Solutions, you will be responsible for all existing accounts within your territory (Sudbury Region)



and be tasked with leading initiatives that drive business growth. This includes creating and fostering relationships with our existing and potential customers.

Base Location:

Sudbury, Ontario - surrounding area. Candidates must reside within the territory or be able to effectively support the region through regular customer visits and business development activities.

Role & Responsibilities:

Call on established and prospective customers to sell company products and services.

Proactively plan customer visits 1-2 weeks in advance.

Serve as the main point of contact in all matters related to client concerns and needs

Grow our industrial footprint within the Sudbury Area by meeting with customers consistently in order to strengthen client relationships.

Develop a thorough understanding of our products and service offerings to better upsell and cross-sell to key stakeholders

Co-ordinate with Customer Service and Operations to maintain customer service levels.

Forecast sales activity and revenue projections on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

Utilize Salesforce.com to manage customer information during all planning phases.

Recognize and monitor market conditions, trends and competitor activities.

Other tasks as assigned.





Required Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Chemistry, Technical Science, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in B2B sales and/or a related industry. Candidates with strong transferable skills from comparable industries are encouraged to apply.

Ability to clearly articulate how proposed solutions meet client business objectives.

Recognize and monitor market conditions, trends, and competitor activities.

Must be self-motivated and apply emotional intelligence to effectively communicate with internal & external stakeholders at all levels.

Proficient in Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Working knowledge of Salesforce.com CRM & Tableau for Data Analytics is an asset.

Working knowledge of contract terms, principles, and profitability calculations.

Must have strong organizational skills, work independently, and demonstrate initiative.

Pay and Benefits:
